Galerie associative Impact

A non-profit organisation founded in 2000 by 3 Strasbourg residents, the Galerie associative Impact and its active members create group exhibitions of emerging and established artists, housed in historic, symbolic Strasbourg locations. The organisation coordinated 6 exhibitions between 2000 and 2011.

Since 2000, Impact has gathered a group of stakeholders (artists, members of the public, institutional and private partners) to devise interactions and facilitate discussion around contemporary issues.

The 1^st edition of the Strasbourg Biennale of Contemporary Art

The Galerie associative Impact is currently working to establish and perpetuate a recurring contemporary art event in Strasbourg: the Biennale. Through this biennale of contemporary art, to take place every two years, Impact will offer an encounter with world-renowned artists and the general public, based around one of the central issues of our time: man in the age of new technologies. With an educational and good-humoured approach, this first Biennale responds to the original premise of Impact: to widen public access to contemporary art.
